Upgrade to a Polyurethane Reactive Hot Melt Adhesive Polyurethane reactive (PUR) hot melt adhesives are moisture-curing adhesives that combine the fast bonding of a hot melt with the great strength of a reactive polyurethane. Like traditional hot melts, PUR hot melt adhesives cool and harden to create the initial bond, but they continue to cure and increase in strength as they react with moisture in the air and on the substrate. PUR hot melt adhesives are great for applications that require additional bond strength and durability. Aside from stronger bond strength, hot melt polyurethane adhesives can also offer more controlled and longer open times than traditional hot melts.
