About
The SCIGRIP SG5000 product line is a series of two-component methyl methacrylate adhesives (MMAs) with a 1:1 ratio of an adhesive and activator. Commonly used in structural bonding applications, the SCIGRIP SG5000 series of adhesives can be used to bond different types of metals, plastics, and composites, including epoxy laminates, FRP, aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, ABS, vinyl, and PVC. These products also have gap-filling abilities from 0.02 to 0.50 inches and a non-sagging formulation for vertical applications. The SCIGRIP SG5000 glues require minimal surface preparation and offer primerless bonding for most metals. The different products in the SG5000 series have different working times and fixture times to meet various production requirements. They also come in amber or black and 50 mL cartridges or 400 mL cartridges.
