Un Eventail : Picasso's Stylistic Evolution in Cubism In 1962, Éditions Leda in Paris released a prestigious portfolio that stands as a testament to the technical mastery of French printmaking and the intimate bond between Picasso and his secretary, Jaume Sabartés . This collection features ten vibrant pochoir s after Picasso’s earlier works, documenting his cubist stylistic evolution. Each was meticulously executed by Daniel Jacomet , whose specialized hand-stencil technique captured the exact texture and pigment density of Picasso’s original gouaches. Complementing these is a striking “after” lithograph printed by the legendary Atelier Mourlot , the world's premier lithographic studio. The portfolio, which included an insightful foreword by Picasso’s close personal friend and secretary, Sabartés, was released in a limited edition of only 260 copies on luxurious Arches paper.
