About
GoldBio provides a stable, biologically active form of BNP for research into cardiovascular physiology, hypertension, renal function and fibrosis, enabling accurate modelling of natriuretic peptide signalling in vitro . B‑type natriuretic peptide (BNP), encoded by NPPB, is a cardiac hormone released from the ventricles under increased wall stress. It encourages natriuresis, diuresis and vasorelaxation while limiting renin and aldosterone secretion, and serves as a biomarker for heart failure and other cardiovascular conditions.
