About

APPLICATIONS: Vinyl Signage, Wallpaper, Banners, Posters, Window Graphics, Pop-ups, POS, unique and uncertified material PROS: Available as an integrated Printer and Vinyl Cutter. Instant Cure. Fastest production speeds when configured with White ink (ideal for Window Graphics). Extremely versatile ink that can adhere to substrates not typically made for printing. Cold cured (lower running cost and print on sensitive stock) CONS: Flexibility not recommended for vehicle wrapping. UV ink sits on the surface and leaves a consistent matte finish. ▼ Roland TrueVIS MG, MG2 & LG Series - what's the difference? The MG Series is an economic, entry-level precision UV Printer/Cutter replacing the previous LEC2 Series, designed for versatile printing and premium textures. The NEW MG2 Series is the latest evolution of this platform. Upgrading from the original MG, it features a larger 1.33-inch printhead allowing for significantly faster print speeds (the MG2-640 produces 3.7 m²/h 2-layer graphics (CMYK > Wh) vs. 1.6 m²/h on the older MG-640). It also dramatically lowers running costs by moving from 500ml ink cartridges to high-capacity 1,000ml ink pouches. Additionally, the MG2 brings modern automated hardware to the table, replacing the older MG’s manual daily maintenance and classic LCD panel with a new 7-inch touchscreen, automatic media adjustment sensors, a cap-top shutter, an included take-up unit, and maintenance routines required only once a week. The LG Series remains Roland's flagship, high-volume production machine. It takes productivity up another notch with even faster print speeds, dual staggered printheads, and a heavier chassis engineered for non-stop, unattended production runs at scale.
