Cortaderia or Pampas Grass Are robust evergreen grasses. Cortaderia features long, narrow, arching leaves that can be green or silver-grey, depending on the variety. In late summer to autumn, tall stalks with dense, feathery plumes (white, pink, or silver) appear, adding dramatic impact. Pampas Grass is often used for privacy screening or as a focal point in gardens, particularly in larger landscapes. The plumes are also popular for dried flower arrangements, as they retain their shape and structure when dried.
