Plants for Sandy Soil

About

Sandy soil drains fast and warms quickly in spring, but holds little water or nutrients. The drought-tolerant, free-draining plants in this collection are perfectly adapted to those light, hungry soils. Adding organic matter helps retain moisture, and a spring mulch keeps roots cool.
