Drip Tape and Fittings

Build or extend a row-watering system with drip tape, connectors, couplers, tees, elbows, end fittings, starter fittings, and shutoff valves. Drip tape has built-in emitters and is generally used in straight rows at the low operating pressure specified by the manufacturer. Plan a Drip Tape Layout Tape thickness: Compare mil thickness with the expected season length, handling, and reuse plan. Emitter spacing and flow: Match the product's emitter interval and flow rating to crop spacing, row length, soil, and water supply. Roll length: Measure each run and allow for headers, connections, and service access. Fittings: Confirm that starters, couplers, ends, tees, elbows, and valves fit the selected tape and supply tubing. Pressure and filtration: Follow the tape specifications and add compatible regulation and filtration where required. Flush the system before closing the ends, then check every run for leaks and even operation.
