About
BLEACH is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo (August 2001–August 2016). Living in the fictional Karakura Town in Japan is Ichigo Kurosaki, who can see ghosts and has a run-in with a Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki. He discovers the existence of Hollows, lost souls that have turned into monsters. An injury leads Ichigo to receive Rukia's powers, and he learns more about his past and what lies beyond the world of the living.
