Dandadan is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu (April 2021–present) that has been adapted into a critically-acclaimed anime. Ken Takakura (also known as "Okarun" and forbidden from using his real name) and Momo Ayase, two high school students, hold opposing beliefs—one believes in aliens, while the other believes in ghosts. An attempt to prove each other wrong leaves both with supernatural powers, and they soon find themselves mixed up with aliens and ghosts! This isn't your average battle manga though, as it's filled with heart and humor resulting from an understanding and appreciation of what makes Shojo manga tick.
