Universal Century Year 0079: One singular decision changed the course of the One Year War, altering the UC timeline forever. In this new universe, spacenoids successfully gained their independence—or did they? The space colonies may be free of the tyranny of the Earth Federation, but they are not free from the hardships caused by economic inequality and harsh military police rule. Residents of the colonies have taken to a vicious underground fighting ring called "clan battle," pitting illegally modified mobile suits against each other in life-or-death matches in the vacuum of space.
