About

Rigging rope takes a very different kind of load to a climbing line — sudden dynamic shock as a section drops, then sustained friction running around a bollard or pulley during controlled lowering. Low-stretch constructions handle static loads predictably, while designs with more give absorb shock without transmitting the full force back through the system. This range spans 10mm to 20mm ropes from STEIN, Courant, Treehog and Harkie, built specifically for rigging rather than adapted from climbing use.
