Low EMF Infrared Saunas Every infrared sauna produces some level of electromagnetic fields (EMF) from its heating panels and electrical components. The saunas in this collection are specifically designed to minimize that EMF output through shielded wiring, advanced carbon panel technology, strategic heater placement, and EMF cancellation techniques. All models are ETL, CETL, and CE safety certified, and EMF levels are measured at the point of body contact — where your back, legs, and arms sit against or near the heating panels during a session. EMF in infrared saunas is measured in milligauss (mG) at 6–8 inches from the heating panels. To put these numbers in context, common household appliances like hair dryers and microwave ovens produce significantly higher EMF levels than any sauna in this collection. These are not regulated standards — they're industry terminology — but the measured levels behind them are real and testable. Low EMF (6–10 mG) — The standard for modern infrared saunas.
