Standard low EMF infrared saunas use carbon fiber heating panels that produce 6–10 mG — already far lower than older ceramic heating elements and well within established safety guidelines. Ultra-low EMF models use the same carbon panel technology but with additional EMF reduction engineering: enhanced shielding around panel wiring, optimized panel geometry that partially cancels opposing electromagnetic fields, and increased separation between heating elements and the seating surface.
