As the name implies, non-cloth tapes are tapes that are manufactured from materials that are not cloth. Surgical tape and paper tape are common alternatives to cloth tape. Paper tape is a tape that firmly sticks to the skin, without leaving behind an unwanted residue. It is also easy to remove by tearing away, and is quite breathable.
