Keep the boots you've already got going for years longer. Grangers has been making footwear care products in the UK for decades, and it's the range I trust for waterproofing, cleaning and conditioning leather, fabric and rubber boots after a wet day on the hills. It doesn't matter where your boots came from. A decent reproofing spray or a tin of wax costs a few quid and can buy you another couple of seasons out of them before you need to replace anything. Pick what your boots need: a spray-on repel for fabric and GORE-TEX boots, a wax for full leather, a conditioner to stop leather drying out and cracking, or a cleaner to get the trail grime off before you treat them.
