Japanese papers may use domestic Japanse Kozo fibers or imported fibers from countries such as Thailand and Parguay. Each paper should have a description, please contact us for more information. The Kozo (Mulberry) bark became a cultivated plant especially for paper and cloth making, known for its long, strong fibers. It is used in the majority of Japanese washi papers made today.
