About

HAY HAY brings a fresh, practical perspective to contemporary Danish design. Founded in Denmark in 2002, the brand works with established designers and emerging creative talent to produce furniture, lighting and accessories that are made for modern life. Its collections combine clear forms, intelligent use of colour and dependable materials, resulting in designs that are distinctive without overwhelming a room. Our HAY collection brings together furniture and accessories for every area of the home and garden. From sculptural lounge chairs and adaptable sofas to dining tables, portable lamps and compact storage, each product reflects the brand’s belief that good design should be useful, accessible and enjoyable to live with. Danish design for contemporary interiors HAY furniture is rooted in the principles of Scandinavian design, but its use of colour, material and proportion gives the collection a character of its own. Clean lines are balanced by warm finishes, tactile fabrics and playful details, making these pieces easy to introduce into both minimal and more expressive interiors. For living rooms, HAY offers generous seating with carefully considered proportions. Explore the modular designs in the HAY Mags collection , or browse the wider range of HAY sofas to find seating for compact rooms, open-plan spaces and larger family homes. Their simple profiles provide a calm foundation for a room, while the choice of upholstery and configuration allows each design to feel personal. HAY’s dining furniture follows the same practical approach. Chairs and stools are designed to work in kitchens, dining rooms, home offices and commercial spaces, often using durable shells, refined upholstery and a wide choice of bases. The HAY About A Chair and About A Stool collection is a particularly versatile family, bringing consistent design across dining chairs, desk chairs, counter stools and bar stools.
