Designed by Oslo-based studio Anderssen & Voll , the &Tradition Ville Garden Furniture Collection is a tactile exploration of materiality and form. Built upon the principle of "vertical stacking," the series seamlessly blends the rigid architectural lines of powder-coated steel with the organic warmth of FSC-certified teak. This 11-piece collection is engineered to encourage leisurely moments outdoors, offering a softer, more inviting alternative to minimalist metal garden furniture. Materials: Powder-coated steel frames, polyester webbing seats and high-oil-content teak. Stackability: Ville chairs are highly practical and stackable up to eight pieces. Natural Aging: Untreated teak slats will develop a distinguished silver-grey patina over time. Tactile Luxury: Steel, Teak & Webbing The Ville collection is defined by its clever use of contrasting materials. While the base of the collection is formed from robust, linear steel, the touchpoints are designed for comfort and temperature regulation. Polyester Webbing: The chair seats are crafted from a flexible webbing that adapts to body temperature, ensuring comfort in both high heat and cooler evenings. FSC-Certified Teak: Tables, benches, and optional armrests utilise premium teak. Due to its naturally high oil content, teak is exceptionally weather-resistant. If left untreated, it ages beautifully into a silver-grey patina that blends with soil and stone; however, regular oiling can maintain its original golden warmth. Inspired by the Norwegian Landscape Anderssen & Voll drew inspiration from the natural textures and deep, forest-like palettes of Norway. This "organic" approach to industrial design ensures that Ville pieces feel like an extension of the garden rather than an imposition upon it. The collection is designed to be cohesive without being monotonous.
