Two different tools live here and it is worth knowing which you want. Square colanders are bowls. They sit flat and stable in a sink corner where a round one rolls, the vertical handle gives you a proper grip when it is full and heavy, and the square shape drains rice and pasta without spilling over the sides. Sizes run from 16cm through 21cm to 24cm. Scoop is not a bowl. It is a scoop-shaped draining tool with hooks that rest on the pan rim, you lift food out of the water rather than tipping the whole pot. Useful for githeri, boiled potatoes and anything you want to serve straight from the pan. The Lotus and Nest steamer baskets fold flat and self-adjust to fit most sufurias.
