Joseph Joseph is the London design studio behind the kitchen tools that get copied everywhere and matched nowhere. Founded by twin brothers Antony and Richard Joseph in 2003, the studio has one habit: find the small, irritating problem everyone else ignores and design it out. The result is a utensil whose head never touches your worktop, a chopping board that folds into a funnel so nothing ends up on the floor, and a kitchen bin that separates waste, recycling and food scraps in the footprint of one ordinary bin. We stock it because we have handled the cheaper alternatives and sent most of them back. Joseph Joseph pieces are heavier than they look, the hinges and catches keep working after years of daily use, and the colours do not fade in a Nairobi sink.
