The types of microwaves we stock Solo microwaves The classic reheating microwave — does one job perfectly. Heats food, defrosts, melts butter, warms milk. Solo microwaves are the most affordable type and the easiest to use, with simple dial or button controls. For most Kenyan households this is the right starting point. Grill microwaves A solo microwave plus a built-in grill element. Reheats food and also browns, crisps, and grills — useful for cheese on toast, grilled chicken, kebabs, and any food that needs a crispy top. Costs slightly more than solo but doubles what you can cook. Convection microwaves The most versatile type. Combines microwave cooking, grilling, and convection oven baking in one appliance.
