NIJ Level IV is the highest protection rating the National Institute of Justice defines, certified to defeat a single .30-06 M2 armor-piercing round. Our swimmer-cut Level IV plates pair that top-tier protection with angled upper corners that improve arm mobility versus a standard SAPI cut. All swimmer Level IV plates here are independently tested to NIJ 0101.06/0101.07 and built by LTC , HighCom Armor , and RMA Armament in ceramic composite and hybrid constructions. What to expect: the same stopping power as our SAPI-cut Level IV plates, in a shape built for shooters and operators who need better shoulder clearance.
