Our HydroCare® plants are a form of hydroponic cultivation. Instead of using soil, plants are adapted to grow in hydrogranules. These granules are made from expanded clay pellets that can store water and nutrients that are then gently drawn up by the plant roots according its needs. HydroCare® is a low maintenance, easy-care system that allows plants to respond naturally to their requirements in their environment. HydroCare® plants have lots of benefits over traditional soil-grown plants. Moisture levels are optimised by the storage of water and food in the granules, reducing the risk of over or under watering. Air circulates through the granules and around the roots to keep them healthy.
