Black Magic

About

Black Magic Tackle is a New Zealand-based brand renowned for its innovative fishing tackle, established in 1991 by Rick Wakelin. The brand revolutionized the industry with the introduction of the KS hook, a chemically sharpened, high-carbon steel hook that set new standards in hook quality and performance. Since then, Black Magic has expanded its product range to include over 2,000 items, encompassing hooks, rigs, lures, leaders, and accessories. In Australia, Black Magic Tackle has become a trusted name among anglers, offering products designed to withstand the diverse fishing conditions across the country. Their offerings, such as the Equalizer® gimbal and harness set, have gained international recognition, winning “Best in Show” at iCast USA.
