House of Hackney’s new collection London Fields is a capsule of commercial-grade wallpapers and fabrics inspired by the historic East London park where the design house began. London Fields is a story in prints, where nothing matches but everything belongs. Featuring new wallpapers , cotton-linens and velvets , each design has been created through the eye of the artist and their palette. Painterly checks take the place of formal plaids; heritage stripes and naïve market-stall ginghams are joyfully rejuvenated, and abundant floral textiles and Deco botanical wallpapers have been drawn and painted with the beauty of the human hand. Perfectly imperfect. This collection is about bold primary colour and layering with confidence - florals with checks, stripes with botanicals, tapestry-like prints with simple weaves, inspired by rooms where nothing matches but everything belongs.
