Matt Albiani New England native Matt Albiani brings his East Coast sensibilities to his evocative photography. A New York City university graduate and former lifeguard, Albiani’s work captures the essence of coastal life with simplicity and soul. His first book, Lifeguard on Duty, is a tribute to ocean lifeguards across the U.S., showcasing their world through his authentic lens. Albiani co-owns MATE Gallery in Montecito, CA, and SEA ROOST, a pair of original fisherman cottages in Montauk, NY. He splits his time between the West Village in NYC and Montauk, where the coastal landscapes continue to inspire his work. A longtime friend of Hudson Grace, we are honored to feature his photography in our collection.
