About
The word aster comes from the Ancient Greek word for star, and without a doubt, these flower favorites shine brightly against any garden sky. A member of the daisy family, these stellar varieties don't share much resemblance with their petite wildflower relatives. They're an ideal choice for cut-flower bouquets. They prefer to be started indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost and transplanted when 3-4" tall.
