This collection brings together our conventional break-action shotguns for clay target and field shooting, led by over-and-under models. The range includes the Miroku MK70, MK10 and ML11, Webley & Scott over-and-unders, the Beretta Silver Pigeon and the Blaser F3, alongside a smaller selection from Templeton Arms. Most models are 12 gauge, the most versatile gauge for clays, ducks and general field use. Barrel length is the main choice: 28 inch barrels swing quickly for field shooting, while 30 and 32 inch barrels give a smoother, more stable swing for sporting clays and trap. When choosing an over-and-under, check the stock fit first, including length of pull and comb height; an adjustable comb or stock makes fitting easier. Interchangeable chokes let one gun cover both close and distant targets, and a ventilated rib and hi-viz sight help with fast target acquisition. Grade of walnut and engraving affect the look and price more than performance, so decide how much you value finish once fit and handling are right. All firearms are sold only to appropriately licensed shooters, and a valid firearms licence and Permit to Acquire (PTA) are required before purchase.
