About
Alloy is oxidised metal, rendered in porcelain. Four tones carry the range — the warm patina of Copper, the verdigris blue of Azzurro, the soft green bloom of Mint, and Pearl, a pale pewter neutral for when you want the texture without the colour. Each colourway comes in two finishes. The matt 60 x 60cm is the workhorse: rated R10 / PTV Shod +36, it is the sensible choice for any floor, and the only one we would recommend for a wet room. The semi-polished 60 x 120cm carries a low, liquid lustre and a scale that suits a feature wall — but it has no published slip rating, so we would keep it to walls and dry floors. Used together, they give you contrast within one material. The range is finished to a V4 substantial variation, the strongest grade there is, so the patination differs markedly tile to tile. That is the point: oxidised metal is never uniform, and without it the surface would read as a repeated print. Frostproof, F4 rated for heavy domestic traffic, and rectified for a crisp narrow joint — Alloy will not tarnish, dent or rust the way the real thing would.
