Sebastian Herkner (born 1981) studied product design at HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design and now works for international companies, designing furniture and lamps, porcelain and glass. He also curates and stages exhibitions dealing with design. Herkner's work is characterised by his sensitivity to colour, materials and textures, his love of craft and his curiosity about new technologies and world cultures.
