We have two types of this insulation available for purchase - glass wool insulation and stone wool insulation – in rolls and slabs (aka batts). Rolls and slabs can be used in flat or pitched roofs, walls, and floors, as they come in a variety of thicknesses to suit any job. They are non-combustible, provide thermal and acoustic insulation (check individual product pages for specs), and both have good eco-credentials due to being manufactured using recycled and/or renewable materials. Our top-selling Earthwool Loft Roll 44 is a good place to start your search for insulating mineral wool roll. It is flexible, making it the ideal choice for insulating uneven walls or tight loft spaces. It is also rot proof, which prevents mice or rats from making their homes in it. Rockwool RWA45 mineral wool batts, just like rolls, are a good choice for a wide range of applications. However, the added benefit is that their rigidity makes them suitable for friction fitting, which saves a great deal of time and effort during installation.
