The Evans G2 is a two-ply drum head and one of the most widely used tom batter heads in the world — delivering a warm, controlled tone with reduced overtones and excellent durability across all playing styles and volumes. The two-ply construction gives the G2 a fuller, more focused sound than a single-ply head, with a natural dampening effect that suits rock, pop, funk, and general playing without the need for additional muffling. Available in Clear (brighter, more open attack) and Coated (warmer tone with a slightly drier, more focused attack) finishes. Individual sizes available from 8" through 10" , 12" , 13" , 14" , and 16" in both Clear and Coated finishes, plus matched tom packs in 10"/12"/14", 10"/12"/16", and 12"/13"/16" configurations in both finishes.
