The Evans UV1 is a single-ply drum head featuring Evans' UV-cured coating — a process that bonds the coating directly to the film using ultraviolet light, producing a surface that is more consistent, more durable, and less prone to flaking or uneven wear than traditional spray-applied coatings. The UV1 delivers a warm, focused tone with a smooth, consistent playing surface that performs reliably over time. Available as a standard coated head for snare and tom use, and as a Reverse Dot variant with a reinforcing dot at the centre for added durability and a more focused attack on snare drums. Individual sizes available from 10" through 12" , 13" , 14" , and 16" , plus UV1 Reverse Dot snare heads in 13" and 14". Tom packs available in 10"/12"/14" and 10"/12"/16" configurations.
