The Evans UV2 is a two-ply drum head featuring Evans' UV-cured coating — combining the warmth and control of a two-ply construction with the consistency and durability of UV curing. The result is a head that delivers a focused, punchy tone with reduced overtones and a coating that won't flake or wear unevenly over time. The UV2 is the two-ply counterpart to the single-ply UV1, and is particularly well suited to rock and heavier playing styles where durability and overtone control are both priorities.
