These products are designed for people with urinary or fecal incontinence where the product is expected to handle sudden full bladder or bowel voids. The pull-up pants style products are generally preferred by active people who have sufficient control and mobility to get to a toilet in time, like the ease of sliding the pants on and off when they do so, and can treat the product as underwear replacement. The tabbed, nappy-style products have higher absorbencies and are a better choice for severe urinary incontinence and fecal incontinence in less mobile people.
