Universal perfumes can be used by all ages, genders as they are neutral in odour profile. Thus, they never sound too much like a heavy smell or a sweet women's fragrance, as other gender-specific perfumes can. They also consist gender-neutral notes, such as fruit and wood, to achieve a perfect balance. They appeal to everyone and are usually pleasant and light and will not make you sit up and take notice by quietly work in the background.
