Walk into the adult mountain bike section of most shops and 26 inch is gone. The industry moved hard toward 27.5 and 29 inch wheels through the 2010s, and the adult range went with it. So it's a fair question when you start searching: is there actually anything worth buying at 26 inches right now? The answer depends on who's riding.
