NEON PAINT SFX NOTICE: We carry both cosmetic face/body paints and Special FX (SFX) products. Any UV/Neon color labeled as Special FX is not considered a cosmetic product in the USA or Europe. Many neon/UV products have not been tested by the USA FDA for cosmetic use, so manufacturers label them for special effects only (paper, clothing, prosthetics, etc.) to create a blacklight glow. Regulations may vary by country, so please check your local guidelines. Neon/UV paints without this warning are considered cosmetic compliant by the manufacturer. For specific concerns, please contact the manufacturer directly. Many DFX colors are dayglow and appear very bold under regular light as well as black light. All but Neon Blue have the day-glow effect. Neon colors are a little more transparent under regular light and may need a heavier application to get an opaque coverage. For black light use, only a thin layer is needed to pop. They are great for rave parties, haunted houses and cosplay costumes! NOTE! Diamond FX has created new containers for the paint to limit the paint from drying and cracking. These containers have a larger rim of plastic around them and a smaller diameter and thicker slab of paint. They still contain the same amount of paint at production as the older style.
