JST RCY / JST SYP 2.5mm Wire-to-Wire Cable Assemblies The JST RCY series — also widely known as JST SYP — is a 2.5mm pitch, 2-pin wire-to-wire crimp connector rated for 3A per contact at 250V AC/DC. The RCY connects two wire harnesses directly to each other with no PCB header required. Its free spring socket contact (SYF-001T-P0.6) provides reliable mating and easy hand-disconnect without a positive latch — making it the standard connector for 1S LiPo RC batteries, servo leads, sensors, and small actuators. Standard housings (SYR-02T receptacle, SYP-02T-1 plug) are red for visual identification. UL Listed variants (SYR-02TV, SYP-02TV-1) are white (natural), recognized under UL file E60389. Both are RoHS2 compliant. JST RCY = JST SYP. RCY is the official JST series name. SYP is the market name derived from the plug housing part number prefix. They are the same connector — all products in this collection are fully compatible.
