How to choose barricade tape Message: "Caution" warns of a possible hazard, "Danger" marks a serious one, and white/blue police tape closes off restricted areas. Width: 3" tape is easier to see across large sites. 2" tape suits smaller areas. Stripes: black and yellow stripe tape is a general hazard marking with no printed words.
