About
Chain blocks are manual hoists that lift heavy loads by pulling a hand chain. They need no electricity, so they are used everywhere from workshops and garages to construction sites, ship repair and factory maintenance. This collection also includes Kito electric chain block hoists and replacement load chains. How to choose a chain block Capacity: choose a block rated above your heaviest load. Maxlift LCH models run from 1T to 15T. Lift height: check the chain length so the hook reaches from the mounting point down to the load. Manual or electric: manual blocks are simple and portable. Electric chain hoists, such as the Kito EFS (single phase) and EFM (three phase, motorized trolley), save effort when you lift often. Chain block or lever block: chain blocks lift vertically from overhead. For pulling, tensioning or lifting in tight spaces, a lever block may suit better.
