About
Concrete cutters cut concrete, asphalt, marble, tile and blocks. Road crews, contractors, plumbers and electricians use them to cut slabs and pavements, make expansion joints, cut openings for pipes and drains, and cut tiles and stone. This collection includes handheld marble cutters, wall chasers, AAC block saws, walk-behind engine cutters, blades and asphalt cutter chisels. How to choose a concrete cutter Handheld or walk-behind: 4" to 7" handheld cutters suit tiles, marble, wall openings and small slab cuts. Walk-behind engine cutters with 14" to 20" blades cut long, deep lines in roads and slabs. Engine type: gasoline engines start easily and are lighter. Diesel engines suit long, heavy cutting days. Dust control: wet cutting or dust-extraction models such as the Makita 4100KB keep dust down indoors. Blade: use a diamond blade sized for the cutter, and choose silver-brazed or laser-welded segments for your material.
