About
Cordless fans keep you cool on job sites, in workshops, during power interruptions and outdoors, using the same batteries as your power tools. This collection also includes Makita fan jackets and vests that blow air inside the garment while you work in the heat. How to choose a cordless fan Battery platform: choose a fan that runs on batteries you already own, such as Makita 18V LXT or 40V XGT, DeWalt 20V, or Ingco and Total 20V. AC/DC operation: the Makita DCF300Z and DCF301Z run on battery or plug into an outlet, which is useful during brownouts. Size: 11" to 13" fans (Ingco CFALI2002, Total TFALI2001) cool one or two people. Larger fans like the Makita CF003GZ move more air. Fan jackets: Makita DFJ jackets and the DFV214A vest keep workers cool outdoors and during grinding work.
