About

Cutting tips are the nozzles at the end of an oxy-fuel cutting torch. They mix oxygen and fuel gas for the preheat flame and send a jet of oxygen through the center to cut steel. This collection has acetylene and LPG cutting tips from Harris, Koike, Victor, Master, Morris, Kobewel, Procut and others, plus tip nuts and tip cleaners. How to choose a cutting tip Fuel gas: acetylene tips and LPG/propane tips are not interchangeable. Choose the tip made for the gas you use. Torch type: match the tip series to your torch, such as Harris 6290 type, Koike 102 (acetylene) and 106 (LPG), or Victor. Tip size: larger tips cut thicker steel. Use the smallest tip that cuts your material cleanly. Special tips: gouging tips remove weld metal, and high speed tips give faster cuts. Related Keep tips clean with a tip cleaner.
