Drywall Sander

About

Drywall sanders smooth joint compound, skim coat and plaster on gypsum board walls and ceilings before painting. Long-reach models let you sand ceilings from the floor, and most connect to a vacuum to control the fine dust. Drywall contractors, painters and renovation crews use them to finish large areas much faster than by hand. How to choose a drywall sander Reach: long-reach sanders such as the AGP GS9FE handle ceilings and high walls. Compact sanders like the Bosch GTR 550 are easier to control on walls and patches. Power: models in this collection range from 650W to 1050W. More power keeps the pad turning under pressure on thick compound. Pad size: 225mm pads cover area quickly. 180mm pads (DCA ASF180 and ASF02-180) are lighter and handy for repairs. Dust extraction: connect a vacuum to keep dust down and see the surface as you sand. Corded or cordless: the Makita DSL800 and DSL801 run on 18V LXT batteries for work on scaffolds without cables. A drywall sander is built for large flat walls and ceilings. For wood, furniture and small paint jobs, a random orbit sander or finishing sander fits better. Keep spare sanding sheets on hand (such as the Ingco AKRS225061 for 225mm sanders), connect a vacuum and wear a dust mask . All products from KHM Megatools are genuine and covered by the manufacturer's warranty where applicable.
