Hacksaws cut steel, pipes, bolts, conduit and PVC by hand or by machine. This collection includes hacksaw frames, mini and junior hacksaws, hand hacksaw blades, power hacksaw blades and power hacksaw machines for workshops. How to choose Frame: high tension frames, such as the Stanley 15-113, keep blades tight for straighter cuts. Mini frames reach tight spots. Blade material: bi-metal blades, such as the Bahco Sandflex and Lenox T2, flex without snapping and last longer than carbon steel blades. Teeth per inch: 18 TPI for general cutting, 24 to 32 TPI for thin tubing and sheet metal. Machine cutting: power hacksaw machines and blades cut bar stock in fabrication shops without operator effort.
