A torsion bar key is a lift component designed specifically for trucks and SUVs with torsion bar front suspension . By replacing the factory key with an aftermarket one, you change the rotational position of the torsion bar, which raises the front ride height by 1–3 inches. Think of it as the torsion bar equivalent of a strut spacer or coil-over lift — same goal (more height and ground clearance), just built for a different suspension type. If your truck runs torsion bars up front, a torsion key is the right tool for the job: bolt-on, budget-friendly, and adjustable.
