Lever Hoists otherwise known as 'Come-a-longs' are from the family of manual hoists, a ratchet type mechanism enables horizontal or vertical lifting, pulling and tensioning of heavy loads up to 10tons. Normally utilising a chain type design, some lever hoists are equipped with steel cable or nylon strapping.
