Single leg chain slings , commonly referred to as 'Drop Chains' are perfectly suited for straight pull vertical type lifts or for lifting objects that have only a single point of lift as well as choking and hooking around a load. Often called 'Snatch Chains' because they are used in construction sites for pulling, lifting and rigging on the job site (however, we don't ever recommend 'snatching' violently with any chain or sling since this can cause a shock-load and severely overload your rigging, this can have very grave consequences and you should always lift steadily in accordance with your safe lift plans.
